As a Senior Node Engineer at Andina Tech, you’ll play a key role in the development and maintenance of our client’s financial system features. You will be responsible for delivering clean, efficient, and scalable solutions, collaborating with a team of talented engineers to help revolutionize the real estate experience.
Your Mision
- Implement and maintain the company’s financial system features and updates to enhance overall functionality.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Node.js code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Ensure thorough documentation of the features, components, and functions you develop.
- Actively participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive feedback to enhance the codebase.
- Resolve software defects and issues promptly during development and QA processes.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of new features.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong backend experience with a focus on transactional and financial systems, ensuring reliable and accurate data handling.
- Proven ability to design and implement long-term solutions, building scalable and maintainable systems that stand the test of time.
- Experience taking ownership of projects from start to finish, including building components or subsystems and driving them to completion.
- A high level of attention to detail, with an emphasis on writing robust, well-tested code to ensure quality and reliability.
Must-Have Skills
- 6+ years of development experience, particularly with web applications (not websites).
- Expertise in Node.js and Express.js (or similar Node.js HTTP frameworks).
- Strong experience in testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and building database-driven applications.
- Cloud experience with AWS.
- Proficiency in English (advanced level).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with performance testing frameworks (e.g., JMeter or Gatling).
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Familiarity with deployment tools such as Vercel or GitHub.
- A Computer Science degree is preferred, but we value non-traditional backgrounds as well.
